The American Cafe Orchestra: The Early Years

Ruthie and Danish guitarist Morten Alfred Høirup formed The American Cafe Orchestra in 1987 along with Norwegian bassist Anders Hofset. Dornfeld's fluid style is backed by the floating European swing of Høirup and Hofset in an eclectic mix of American, Scandinavian, and Celtic fiddle tunes. The Early Years combines their first two recordings, American Cafe Orchestra and Somewhere in Sweden.
